Merging Parishes in the Diocese of Madison

Below are the mergers specified in the directives of Trusting in the Spirit. The original suggestions arose from the involved parishioners themselves, were discussed and tweaked by a diocesan-wide commission consisting of priests and laity who submitted recommendations to the Bishop, who gave final approval and issued these directives. While allowing for the possibility that changing circumstances might require changing these plans, the default position is that they will be implemented as written.
