After a determination process that has lasted years and involved parishes, priests, commissions, and staff, Bishop Morlino issued his Directives for all of the parishes in the Diocese of Madison in October 2007. These Directives set the ‘direction’ for each cluster of parishes as the number of priests decline and the distribution of priests change in the Diocese. You can read more history about these Directives on the Guided by the Spirit Pages of this site - click here
An Implementation Commission (similar to the Planning Commission) has been formed, parishes have created their individual Implementation Committees to address the Directives for their cluster and parish, and many in the Diocesan Offices have put together helpful materials for the Implementation Committees to use.
