November 2008 Gatherings
Catholic Social Teaching
The November 2008 series of regional gatherings of parish catechetical leaders from throughout the Diocese of Madison focused on the topic of Catholic social teaching.
Dr. Constance Nielsen, who teaches theology at Marquette University and whose doctoral thesis focused on this very topic, is a witty, engaging and informative presenter on all aspects of Catholic social teaching, including its historical unfolding, its principles and its application in today’s world.
Gatherings were held in four locations over the course of three weeks. Over 100 catechetical leaders from around the diocese attended.
