Games
The Bishop O'Connor Center's pool (with several life-guards on duty), gym and fields will be open from 2pm - 3:30pm for families and their children to enjoy. In addition, the diocese's biggest Slip-n-Slide will be open on the hill overlooking the football field! Families are asked to bring balls, bats, gloves, frisbees and such, as well as swim suits, towels, water toys, sunscreen and bug repellent as necessary (this is a typical family picnic.). Parents are responsible for any necessary supervision of their children at all time., and should accompany small children (under 8 years) who use the pool.
At 3:30, formal games organized by the Knights of Divine Mercy will begin. The pool and slip-and-slide are closed to encourage all children to participate in the organized games.
Spiritual Talk
At 5:00, Bishop Morlino or one of his great priests will offer some family reflections to the adults (and any older kids who wish to listen).
What else to Bring?
Seating is limited - consider bringing folding lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. The pool and slip-n-slide will be open, so include your swim suits, towels, water toys, sunscreen and bug repellent. There will be plenty of games, but feel free to also bring balls, bats, gloves, frisbees, etc.
