As you have likely heard, the Frassati Fest is the coolest weekend around for Catholic High School students in the Diocese of Madison. (In case you haven’t heard, this Fest is the newly renamed Resurrection Rally you are used to loving over the past 12 years. Watch the video to get some of the details!)
The planning team has been hard at work planning this year’s event - AGAPE: Love Through the Fight. We will be exploring what it means to follow the greatest commandment (to love) in the world today, even in the midst of difficulties, persecutions and the conflicting definitions of love floating around out there.
If you have been bringing young people for the better part of the last decade to this incredible weekend, thank you. And, we look forward to spending another weekend with you.
If you have never brought the youth from your Parish to this event or it has been a while, we encourage you to think about doing so. Without a doubt, this weekend will provide a chance for inspiring catechesis, prayer, time for good conversation with the young people from your Parish, and an opportunity for them to dive deeper into the beauty of the Catholic faith with hundreds of their peers.
This year, we are happy to welcome Jon Pressimone as our keynote speaker. He is a faithful, enthusiastic, ultimate frisbee playing young adult from the East Coast. Jon loves sharing the truths of the Catholic faith, playing music and hanging out with the young Church!
Also, this year, we are happy to welcome back the Camp Gray Staff who will help facilitate small group discussions, lead icebreakers, speak during workshops and help throughout the weekend to serve as an inspiration to the young people present.
It sounds like there are an infinite number of reasons not to miss this. Save the date, start promoting this great event and we’ll see you in February.
