"Devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and devotion to the Blessed Virgin are not simply the best way, but in fact the only way to keep purity. At the age of twenty, nothing but Communion can keep one's heart pure...Chastity is not possible withouth the Eucharist." ~St. Philip Neri ~
GOOD THINGS….
Perhaps you have heard, there has recently been a collaboration of sorts with the Diocese and St. Paul’s HSRT. It is one that has been quite fruitful and will continue. We will move forward with the idea in mind that the diocese will eventually be able to provide a more full and frequent slate of local retreat opportunities. This union will look to pick up steam and the partnership of those at Camp Gray when we meet with them later this month. In the meantime, if you need or would desire a retreat for your Middle school or High school kids, give me a call, we will work it out. There are three events coming up this spring that will be a part of this new and very exciting collaboration.
April 18-19, 2008- TOB Based Confirmation Retreat. Fr. Thomas Loya will be here giving a confirmation retreat centered around Theology of the Body. Fr. Loya appears regularly on Relevant Radio to discuss the TOB. For $70 we will feed you 3 meals, give you a bed to sleep in, and Fr. Loya will break down the the truth about the body and it's language of love! All are welcome to join us here that weekend.
