Each year, Bishop Robert Morlino celebrates a Mass of Thanksgiving for all married couples in the Diocese of Madison that are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. This is a special time to publicly recognize the Sacrament of Matrimony lived out faithfully.
The 2012 50th Wedding Anniversary Mass & Reception will be held on
Sunday, August 5, 2012 - 2:00 pm at the Bishop O’Connor Catholic Pastoral Center 702 S. High Point Road, Madison.
This is an invitation only event! Any married couple that celebrates their 50th wedding anniversary within the current calendar year (January 1 through December 31) and is a current member of a parish is invited to attend. To receive an invitation, please notify your pastor that you will be celebrating your 50th Anniversary and request that he submit your name to the Bishop’s office.
Mass will be followed by a cake, coffee, and punch reception in the main dining area.
Please Note: An invitation is required to attend the Mass and Reception. The Bishop O’Connor Catholic Pastoral Center is a handicapped accessible facility.
