Scheduling Your Marriage Prep Sessions

Sessions for the two Marriage Prep (MP) programs are scheduled throughout the year at parishes around the diocese to be as convenient to you as possible.

The MP seasons are Fall (late August - November)
and Spring (January - June) and include a range of options - Satuday sessions, two-evening sessions, and a weekend retreat.

Classes are posted in June for the coming fall and spring seasons. Additional classes may be added after that time as locations become available.

Classes with less than 5 registered couples within two weeks of the scheduled date will be cancelled. Registered couples will be given priority to transfer their registration to another session.

How To Register for MP

Review this page and the MP Brochure to understand the overall marriage preparation process; review the MP Dates to select the date(s) that work best for you.
Click on the “Register Here” button and complete the registration form. After you press the submit button, you will be directed to a confirmation screen with your session details. Print this screen.
Mail in the above confirmation document with your payment to the address listed. A final confirmation letter will be sent to you within 10 days of receiving your mailed-in confirmation. Registration is not guaranteed until your confirmation and payment are received.

Please note that all Fall dates and the two weekend retreat for the 2010/2011 year are now open for registration. All Spring dates (Jan. - June) will be added by the end of July.

Important Information

Remember, the first step is to contact the parish where you plan to have your wedding, at least 6 months before your wedding!
Diocesan policy for all engaged couples to complete both seminars individually or through the weekend retreat
Recommended that the Real Life, Real Love seminar be taken first
Additional seminars may be posted online
Advance registration is required, session size is limited – Register early!

Emergency Weather Cancellations: cancellations will be posted at www.madisondiocese.org/mp no later
than 1-hour before the start of the session
