Healing Through Forgiveness:
Making Our Way to Good Friday
and Easter Resurrection
Tuesdays in March
(March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31)
St. Patrick Church – 404 E. Main St.
7:00 pm
What exactly is forgiveness? Why should I forgive those who have hurt me? What does my forgiving someone else have to do with Jesus’ death and Resurrection? If you have ever found yourself asking these questions then this special Lenten series at the Cathedral parish is for you. Dr. Robert Enright, a professor in Educational Psychology at UW-Madison, will be leading us on a journey to the heart of the Christian mystery as he teaches about forgiveness, redemptive suffering, and the relationship between our acts of forgiveness and Christ’s Paschal Mystery. Each evening will begin with Evening Prayer, followed by a talk on forgiveness by Dr. Enright with some Q&A time, and ending with social time with snacks. Dr. Enright has been scientifically studying forgiveness for the past 23 years and his academic studies of forgiveness played a central role in his conversion to the Catholic faith. You are encouraged to come attend this series on forgiveness that is guaranteed to transform the way you experience Lent, your relationships, and your very relationship with Christ!
