Toddler Time
You and your little one are invited to join us at an ongoing group that meets every Wednesday at St. Thomas Aquinas. Many parents with young children attend playgroups, so what makes this different?
One key difference is having the children play together is just one reason to gather. The other reason is to talk with other moms about parenting with faith. It is not like talking about different discipline techniques (although that comes up). It's not like talking about various ways of dealing with bullies, or potty training, or trying new foods (although those come up, too). It's talking about what is important to us as adults on a deeply spiritual level, which then influences the way we parent.
This year we will be using the book The Power of A Positive Mom byKarol Ladd as our focus of conversation. It's fine to jump in at any time!
When: each Wednesday, 8:30-10 am and 9:30-11 am with a shared snack time from 9:30-10 am...come to either the "early" or "late" shift!
Where: We meet in the St. Thomas Aquinas nursery (upstairs from the Gathering Area) and go to the social hall for our snack time.
Who’s welcome? Anyone with little ones ages 4 and under or “babes in arms”
