And he went up on the mountain, and called to him those whom he desired; and they came to him. And he appointed twelve, to be with him, and to be sent out to preach and have authority to cast out demons. ~Mark 3:13-15
After this the Lord appointed seventy [two] others, and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to come. And he said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." ~Luke 10:1-2
In those days Peter stood up among the brethren (the company of persons was in all about a hundred and twenty)... When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind... And there appeared to them tongues as of fire... And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. ~Acts 1:15; 2:1-4
Bishop Hying is traveling the Diocese of Madison this spring to preach kerygmatic missions, helping people rediscover the life-changing message of the Gospel. In most instances, his talk begins each evening at 7:00pm and is preceded by a holy hour. Please check in with the hosting parish to confirm the schedule for each night.
