Collection for the Archdiocese for the Military Services
The Collection for the Archdiocese for the Military Services helps identify and support vocations within the military. Currently, 285 military chaplains provide pastoral care to over 1.5 million Catholics on ships, in combat areas. on bases and in 153 VA hospitals. Fr. Jason Hesseling and Fr. Tim Mergen, priests of the Diocese of Madison. both serve as military chaplains.
Catholic Communications Campaign
The collection for the Catholic Communications Campaign provides grants to Catholic organizations that help spread the Good News through social networking sites. podcasts. television, radio. and print media. Fifty percent of the money collected remains in our diocese. The local portion helps fund the diocesan website, audio/visual production, communications and materials.

Catholic Home Missions
There are 88 home mission dioceses in the United States. These dioceses are unable to fund basic and essential pastoral works, such as catechesis. seminary formation, and lay leadership training, and are unable to attend to the unique needs of the communities they serve. With your support, the Catholic Home Missions collection helps to ease the struggle and form vibrant faith communities.

The Catholic University of America. located in Washington D.C., is the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States. All funding through this collection is allocated toward financial aid for students from dioceses across the country. The university has a wide range of programs with curriculums in major fields of study.

Locally and nationally, we scrupulously strive to ensure that your funds promote the cause of authentic development of the human person, aimed always at promoting the unity of every person with Christ. and through Him, with each other. Past recipients of the national portion include: Little Sisters of the Poor, Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR), & Missionaries of Charity. Locally, recipients have been pro-life groups, parish clusters, and other trustworthy Catholic entities.
Retirement Fund for Religious
Catholic sisters, brothers. and religious order priests need your help. For years, these selfless women and men ministered for little. if any, compensation - educating the young in our Catholic schools. nursing the sick in our Catholic hospitals, and promoting justice and peace. Because of their sacrifices. they have little retirement savings. Your donation provides funding for prescription medication, nursing care. and healthcare costs.

Funds collected for this mission are responsible for continuing the evangelization needs of the African-American and Native-American communities in the United States. Money raised has helped support priests, sisters, lay ministers, schools and catechetical programs in the African-American and Native-American communities. Your support remains in the United States and is provided to communities through grant opportunities.
