Scholarships are available through the Diocese of Madison to help offset the cost of training for individuals or couples in the Diocese to become Natural Family Planning (NFP) Instructors. Interested parties must go through an application process to be considered.

The amount awarded will vary according to the cost of training for various methods and can be applied to training costs including tuition, books, lodging and/or travel expenses to or from the training site. Proof of expense and completion of training must be provided before the scholarship funds will be paid to the trainee.. 

Qualifications to Apply:

1. Reside within the Diocese of Madison and/or offer services as an instructor within the Diocese of Madison.
2. Provide proof of acceptance for training as an instructor for a Church-approved method of NFP.
3. Provide proof of completion of training once finished and you are ready to take clients before scholarship funds will be paid.
4. Complete and submit the scholarship application.
5. Provide a letter of reference in support of you becoming an NFP instructor.
6. Participate in an interview by phone, video chat or in person (if needed) with the Marriage and Family Office.
7. Willingness to be included on the Diocesan list of trained NFP instructors.
8. Willingness to provide NFP instruction within the Diocese of Madison for a minimum of 2 years.
